About the Role

As a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer you will act as the technical bridge between our engineering team and external suppliers for critical components of the Blue Heart Heat Engine. These components are central to our thermoacoustic system and require precision manufacturing, robust qualification, and industrialization excellence.

You will own the end-to-end industrialization of these components, from early prototype validation through supplier qualification, process validation, and ramp-up to series production. You will ensure manufacturability, cost competitiveness, quality compliance, and scalability in a fast-growing, high-tech startup environment.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role with full ownership of supplier readiness and industrial performance.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, onboard, and qualify suppliers for critical thermoacoustic components, ensuring technical readiness and industrial scalability.

• Translate product design requirements into robust manufacturing processes, providing DFM/DFA feedback to engineering teams.

• Lead industrialization readiness, including process validation, and capability assessments.

• Own tooling strategy and CapEx investments for critical components, including RFQs, supplier selection, tooling validation, and acceptance.

• Drive cost-down initiatives and lead technical supplier negotiations to meet target cost objectives.

• Conduct supplier audits focused on process capability, quality systems, and compliance in close collaboration with Quality Lead.

• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure a seamless transition from prototype builds to stable series production.

• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery, and scalability.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in supplier development, industrialization, or manufacturing engineering, or a related hardware-focused environment.

• Practical experience working with or qualifying suppliers in manufacturing processes.

• Strong understanding of NPI and industrialization processes, including process validation, control plans, PFMEA, and ramp-up readiness.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience conducting supplier audits and validating manufacturing processes.

• Ability to translate engineering designs into robust, scalable manufacturing solutions.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and accountability.

• Bonus: experience in clean tech, HVAC, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
