About the Role
As Product Owner – Electronics & Software (Heat Pump and Blue Heart Unit) you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the component roadmap of the controller of our thermoacoustic heat pump engine and the controller of the heat pump application. You will support OEM heat pump manufacturers to optimally integrate the Blue Heart unit into their system. This position combines technical leadership with strategic execution, ensuring that our components meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards while driving innovation in a fast-paced environment.
As part of the Electronics and Software team, you will translate customer- and system-level requirements into detailed specifications, oversee testing and validation, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to integrate solutions seamlessly.
What You’ll Do
Manage and deliver on the component roadmap, milestones, and deliverables, aligning with project timelines and strategic goals and other components’ roadmaps
Translate customer- system-level requirements into detailed component specifications in collaboration with architect, other component owners, application team and OEM customers
Define and oversee testing and validation plans to ensure performance, reliability and compliance
Cooperate closely with the scrum master/team leader of the Electronics and Software team who is you peer in this team
Drive knowledge gap closure and decision-making for electronics-related issues
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate solutions effectively
Solving issues with the team, conducting root cause analyses and implementing sustainable solutions
What We’re Looking For
Strong expertise in (embedded) electronics and software
Understanding of HVAC and HVAC controls
Demonstrates technical leadership and adaptability, capable of guiding product development in a rapidly changing environment with unforeseen obstacles
Skilled in project management and informal leadership
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Having a hands-on approach in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable technical solutions.
