Test Engineer Intern
Get hands-on with innovative heat pump technology by testing, troubleshooting, and improving real laboratory systems.
Job description
About BlueHeart Energy
BlueHeart Energy was founded in 2016 as a deep-tech company that has developed a new sustainable thermoacoustics technology to radically improve the performance of heat pumps, enabling them to evolve from being the best solution in the market to becoming the perfect solution. Our technology is a disruptive approach to generate heat and cold, with potential to revolutionize the whole industry.
With our so-called Blue Heart' inside, heat pumps turn into affordable, silent and flexible devices, capable of working with wide temperature ranges suitable for both new and existing houses. Importantly, BlueHeart doesn’t require any refrigerants and doesn’t generate any CO2e emissions.

Interview tips

Get to know Blue Heart Energy
Before your interview, take some time to explore our career page, learn about our technology and products, and read our company values. You don’t need to become an expert: we’re interested in what caught your attention, why you’re considering BlueHeart Energy, and what you’re curious to learn more about.

Come prepared to talk about your experience
Our first conversation is usually focused on getting to know you: your career journey, motivation, experience, and what you’re looking for next. As you progress, interviews become more focused on the role and may include technical, functional, or leadership-related questions. Think about relevant examples from your experience that help us understand not only what you did, but how you approached it and what you learned.

Use clear, concrete examples
We often use the STARR method: Situation, Task, Action, Result and Reflection, to explore your experience. Before your interview, think of a few examples that demonstrate skills relevant to the role. Be specific about your own contribution, decisions and results. Communication is also part of what we assess, particularly for roles involving collaboration or leadership, so aim to keep your answers clear and structured.

Be curious and be yourself
An interview is a two-way conversation. Come with questions about the role, team, technology, challenges or anything else you genuinely want to understand. Our process may include both online interviews via Microsoft Teams and an onsite interview, giving you the opportunity to meet people you could be working with and experience BlueHeart Energy firsthand. Prepare well, but don’t rehearse a version of yourself, we want to meet you.
